Requisition Priorities

Requisition is a mission plan expressed as inventory. Ammunition, powder, reconnaissance, and movement options compete for the same ability to solve future problems. The best purchase is not the most powerful item; it is the resource that removes the next confirmed constraint without making a later objective impossible.

Build a minimum executable package

Before optional spending, list every confirmed target, named payload, expected correction shot, and survival action. This creates a floor below which the mission cannot be executed reliably. Do not spend that reserve merely because an attractive shell or support option is currently available.

Value information against wasted fire

A reconnaissance or observer option is worthwhile when it converts an uncertain line or area into a target that can be fired on confidently. Compare its cost with the likely cost of blind ammunition, reload time, and exposing the NEST. Information is not automatically efficient; it should answer a specific unresolved question.

  1. Name the uncertainty before buying information.
  2. Identify what result would confirm the target.
  3. Compare the support cost with blind-fire risk.
  4. Preserve enough ammunition to act on the result.

Maintain a correction and relocation reserve

A mission plan that assumes every first shot is perfect is fragile. Hold enough powder and ammunition for a measured correction, and protect movement resources when hostile artillery or mission design makes relocation plausible. After moving, remember that every surviving target requires a new firing solution.

Diagnose a supply collapse

If the operation runs short, review speculative purchases, maximum-charge habits, blind shots, duplicate payloads, and moves that did not improve safety or information. Change the earliest waste pattern rather than simply buying less of everything; the goal is to keep the mission-critical chain executable.
