Shell & Ammunition Reference
A useful ammunition reference starts with battlefield purpose and the current armory description. Exact costs, effects, and names can change, so this page separates stable decision rules from values that must be checked in the current build.

Field reference
Role-based shell reference
| Role | Use when | Verify in current build |
|---|---|---|
| Destructive | Objective requires target damage | Target class and shell effect |
| Smoke / support | Objective requires screening | Named shell and placement |
| Illumination | Observation or special task | Duration and objective wording |
| Reconnaissance | Target position is uncertain | Coverage and mission availability |
| Mission-specific | Order explicitly names a shell | Exact name before loading |
This avoids publishing patch-sensitive costs or damage as permanent facts.
Read the mission before the magazine
Named ammunition is part of the objective. Copy the requirement to the firing card before requisitioning, and keep special-purpose rounds separate from general destructive stock.
Use a role-based decision table
Classify the required effect first. Destructive rounds attack targets; screening rounds alter visibility; illumination and observation tools reveal information; reconnaissance rounds reduce uncertainty; scripted rounds satisfy named mission conditions.

Verify current values
Check shell name, in-game description, available stock, requisition cost, and any target limitation in the current build. Do not import damage or cost numbers from the demo without confirming them.
Plan both barrels
When two objectives require different effects, assign the shell and firing card to a specific barrel before moving ammunition. This prevents a correctly aimed shot from carrying the wrong payload.
Report a changed shell
When a patch changes a name, cost, or effect, record the game version and the current armory text. The site editorial policy treats unsourced community tables as provisional until reproduced or supported by official material.
