What this dispatch changes
Patch notes are most useful when they are translated into a checkable operator response. Save, mission-entry, input, and control fixes affect whether a firing workflow can be completed at all; visual or localization fixes affect how confidently the same workflow can be read and transferred.
Key changes in the official notes
- 💥 "GROUND TRUTH" - NEW CHILL SKIRMISH MISSION 💥FIXED:
- Incorrect date on "Iron Road" newspaper;
- Field reports unreadable text going off the paper for Cyrillic font on long missions;
- Trigger console animation glitch resulting in it being stuck in an unfireable position;
- Gold medal achievement unobtainable in "Phantom Battery" without killing friendly units.
Operator actions
- Confirm Steam has installed the newest available build before reproducing an older issue.
- Retry the affected mission or station with the same steps, then record what still fails instead of changing several variables at once.
- Rebuild any firing card whose range, charge selection, control state, or mission data may have changed after the update.

The second free Skirmish mission "Ground Truth" is now available. Enemy anti-aircraft batteries are concealed across the city, and Castilian frontline units are relying on your fire support. Follow their reports and locate hidden enemy positions.

💥 New Skirmish Mission - "Ground Truth" 💥
High Command has entrusted you with the lives of Castilian infantrymen fighting across the city. Enemy anti-aircraft batteries have left you without reconnaissance photographs, forcing you to rely entirely on reports from frontline observers. Use the information they provide to direct your fire with precision and support the infantry.
The lives of Castilian infantrymen rest in your hands, Operator. Every successful strike brings them closer to victory, while every missed shot puts more lives at risk. Somewhere on the frontline, soldiers are fighting for every inch of Castilian soil, trusting that your guns will answer when they need them most. High Command expects you to honor that trust and make every shell count.
Roadmap Update: Additional Skirmish Modes
Operators, High Command continues its commitment to strengthening Castile's military capabilities. Our campaign to expand IRON NEST with additional free Skirmish missions remains in full force.
"Ground Truth" marks the second free Skirmish mission deployed during this phase. It follows our previous operation, "Guarding the Strait," which remains available for all Operators. You can read more about that operation in the Previous Announcement.
High Command has no intention of slowing down. November will bring an upgrade to the Ballistic Calculator, while another free Skirmish mission is scheduled for deployment in December.
Alongside these new additions, we will continue improving IRON NEST with regular patches and fixes, and your reports remain an essential part of that effort. Keep sharing your feedback and any issues you encounter through our dedicated Steam Discussions thread.
Decorate Your Headquarters: Steam Community Items
High Command would also like to remind all Operators that IRON NEST Steam Community Items have recently been deployed. Trading Cards, Badges, Profile Backgrounds, Emoticons, and Avatars are now available to help you decorate your headquarters and proudly display your loyalty to Castile.
If you've already decorated your Steam profile, report to our Discord and show off your headquarters to fellow Operators. High Command expects nothing less than a proper display of Castilian pride.
