Tutorial

The turret is easier to learn when each station has one clear job. This orientation explains how information moves through the NEST without inventing control bindings that may vary by update.

The operating chain

Intelligence supplies the problem, the map supplies bearing and range, ballistic equipment supplies elevation, and the gun stations apply the finished solution.

Learn one station at a time

Follow the same sequence on every training shot.

  1. Read and retain the order.
  2. Plot known positions.
  3. Measure bearing and range.
  4. Choose shell and propellant.
  5. Set traverse and elevation.
  6. Load, verify, and fire.

Build reliable habits

Record what you intended to set. When impact is wrong, compare actual settings with that plan instead of rebuilding everything immediately.
